Have you seen this side of Potter?

I am a big Harry Potter fans! The first 2 books I read are written in Chinese. Then the 3rd book of Harry Potter I went ahead and read English version, I found that reading the English version is so much better. However, I have a hard time to understand all these English terms and names, so I went back to read the very first book "Soccer Stone" so that I can understand and related all these names. It's a lot better after that. Yes, I am totally addicted!! I can't wait for the movie "the half blood prince" to come out.

Recently I have a customer came to me and get this hand-painted pearl forest green eyes. Then one day she showed me this lovely Beary Potter! I am so amazed and instantly totally in love the bear! Beary Potter is made with love, you can tell, it amazing and stunning!! If you are Harry Potter's fans, you will like this "Beary Potter". This Beary Potter is made by Dawn. You can visit her shop DawnMilstrey.etsy.com

Eye Heart You

Last night I created this design on my 21mm eyes! I really like this! I put it up this morning (Sat) and it is sold within a few minutes! I was jumping up and down in the kitchen telling my hubby about that. I know, it's crazy! I haven't been jumping like this for a long time, you know, I am getting old and can't do this very often! LOL

This pair of hand painted eyes are painted with pearl black and pearl red colors, with shimmer effect. Middle part is solid black.
♥♥♥ EYE HEART YOU ♥♥♥ Exclusive creation by Clara
Thoughts - I designed this not just only for Valentine's Day. When we make our soft toys, it's filled with love and hard work. Eyes are always the soul of a critter, I think not only the critter itself can show the love, but also the eyes, it's telling the person who receive the soft toys that the creator is truly putting her/his heart into it. Putting this together is a lot of fun, I hope you will like it! Size: 21mm (inch: 0.83 or 13.23/16) I will paint more of these and put them in my etsy store. I also do custom order. Just send me a message and I will reply asap! =)

Stitch 'n Frog

You know how much I love eyes! When I see some big eyes, small eyes. beautiful eyes, ugly eyes, even horrible eyes, I will pay some attention and research them a bit!! Am I sick? I think not, at least I am not the only one! :P I found a store in Etsy who sells Bloodshot Eyeball Pattern!! Who have thought that you actually could find a pattern for that! It's creepy, but I like it! The horrible thing is you can even crochet the eye blood vessels to go with it! Now you can call it you are truly have "eye" on somebody! LOL This seller is not as sick as me, she got some pretty patterns, e.g, Dish and Bath Scrubbies Pattern and Crochet Stitch Sampler Hat and Scarf Pattern Etsy shop: StitchnFrog's shop

Adopt An Alien

I came across this shop a few months ago! This shop's a little unusual because of the nature of this shop! How often will you think that "humm.. today I am going to adopt an alien!"? However, when I got a chance to look through the ALIENS inside this shop! Each of them looks so tamed and well behaved! These aliens are actually kind of cute and they are truly one-of-a-kind! ^^ They came with different sizes, colors, or should I say "different planets"! LOL The best thing is you will get a "Birth Certificate" of the adopted alien! Wow! That's what I call value-added services! Lindsey will give you alien's birth certificate when you adopt these adorable aliens! That's so awesome! Don't you think? More information please visit this alien shop: adoptanalien.etsy.com Lindsey has another shop selling very cute handmade beads, earrings and dollhouse miniatures: SilverFairyCreations.etsy.com. I have purchased her beads before for my little girls. They love them so much. It's the right size for little girls to put beads together by themselves, and it's sturdy and beautiful! :)

Cuddlet ... because everyone likes cuddles

Are these little critters cute? I think Etsian artists really rock! Etsy is full of talented people indeed. Now these bunch of critters are all handmade by Nina! Isn't she great? These are all original designs by her. She sell these in her etsy store. These animals are so cuddly, I think that's why her etsy store named cuddlet.etsy.com. She is not only selling animals, she has these PDF tutorials about making these lovely soft toys too!! I like her creatures. They are very colorful. You will smile and happy when you are cuddling these animals I am sure! :) More information you can go to her website directly: Cuddlet.com.

Hand Painted Pearl Eyes - 10.5mm round plastic eyes

In the market, there are not many varieties of 10.5mm commercial eyes that I can provide in my store! Mostly I can find are clear round eyes and solid black eyes, how boring is that? Since I have been painting my pearl eyes, I thought I should give it a try to paint 10.5mm eyes. It's the perfect sizes for medium size critters! OK, off to go the table and start working!! Outcomes: perfect! I love it! :) Bright and lovely! I always like that pearl, shimmering look in these little eyes! Yes, I am crazy!! My hubby always says I am so obsessed with animals plastic eyes! Well.. I don't know why, I like to look at them and think what animals can be created behind these eyes! To me, looking at eyes are like looking at the soul of every creatures on earth! STORY: When I was REAL young, I like to look directly into boy's eyes. If they are deep and looking back at me, I will feel "zipppp", like electric shocks, lol, didn't you have that feelings before? Luckily not many boys at that age would do that! They were so afraid and they just looked somewhere else! What?? Normal? Nah... anyway, that's good, it saved me lots of troubles! Back to NOW: Because I love eyes, now I am selling them! You can find shimmering-looking pearl animal safety eyes in Etsy store and Artfire store!

AmigurumiParadise

AmigurumiParadise is another Etsy shop I am constantly paying attention to! Her's pattern is very unique. Barbara designs her own patterns, that's why you can't find her pattern in any book. I purchased several of her patterns and I can tell you it's well written! Patterns are very clear and easy to follow! She got enough pictures for you to see, so that you won't get lost. Her patterns are also very simple! One more thing is she offers free patterns! If you are a beginner, check out her blog and you will find some very handsome patterns waiting for you to try! This particular pattern is named Garden Sprite! Isn't it cute? You can check out my old blog "A bunch of Amis" to see what I have crochet with AmigurumiParadise's pattern.

Meeka Sews

I knew Meeka (titaniumhip.etsy.com) for a long long time! At first, she really got me noticed is of her last name, it's similar to my hubby's first name! It's not very usual name, that's why I noticed her! She came to me to purchase some eyes in my store. I got into a habit automatically go to my customer's etsy shop to see their works. I am kinda nosey I admit! :P One day as usual I checked out her shop and found out all these little critters she have been making! They are so cute, so unique! She is not only making critters by sewing them, she also paints! She gave them personalities and they are a bunch of cuties to have in the house to make you smile! In Etsy I always look at other Etsian's work and wonder how talent they are. She is one of them that amazed me! Her works are one-of-a-kind! If you are interested, please check out her etsy shop! More info you can visit her blog!
