Shells and Chains Towel

Last 2 days I wanted to make a hand towel for my kids to use in the bathroom. I have tried the hi5 pattern, but I am not making it look nice. For some reasons, I just can't do it, so I got my book out and found this pattern in it, I thought it would look nice. However, my hubby said probably it wouldn't be absorbent enough for them to use. well.. I think he is right, but I like the pattern so much that I probably will make another one just to hang in the bathroom! LOL

Oh that is so pretty! I love the colors in teh yarn you chose.
That is a lovely colorful crochet work. As rightly pointed out, this would not absorb water. Just to hang about anywhere, this is too good.
