This morning I really got into mood in painting something! Good thing is I don't have my kids around me, they are all sleeping! Yeah! This early morning was gray, cold, and very unhappy kind of feelings! However, because I was in mood, I decided to paint my eyes a little special. I have these transparent red eyes and I knew that they are kind of scary looking, so I am thinking to paint them into lovely looking instead. After all, they are not very scary, but definitely beautiful! I love the pearl effect in this eyes. Am I like a crow only like shiny and shimmering things? :P Anyway, here they are. I have spent a whole week to make this monkey amigurumi, it's not especially difficult to make, it just took me a long time to make the feet look right. The pattern is in Amigurumi Collection 2. It's written in Japanese. I wasn't understand how to crochet the foot until I asked several friends of mine, they are amigurumi expert, they made amigurumi every few days, they taught me how to do that, thank you for your help, Slimmom, 豬豬太太 and Janice. I made a few mistakes in this monkey, but I couldn't correct it, it was too late, but also I was too lazy to do it, shame on me!!! Anyway, here it is a purple and next time I will do it better! :)

This is another new amigurumi I crochet, pattern is from Amigurumi Collection vol 2. What I have left to crochet is the feet and inner ear pieces. I hope I can finish it today! :) Well.. I am make some mistakes, but I am not going to re-do that part.. arrggggg...

In the past weekend, my hubby and my daughters dyed Easter eggs at home. Lily with her new dress, showed off the dyed eggs and bunny bag. :) What a nice weekend we had, weather was nice, warm enough to play outside, everybody spent 2 days outside without worrying too much of catching a cold. Lily, didn't have a chance to go outside, but had her new purple dress made from mami. Mami crocheted this dress last Friday and Saturday morning, very happy it turned out OK! :)

I crochet this dress last night, it's purple again! :) It's a dress I made for my daughter, she loves everything purple. I like this pattern a lot, it shows off Barbie's long legs. This is my first time to use cotton yarn (size 10) and a 1.5 mm steel hook, oh my god, I thought it would take forever to crochet! haha! Well..before I noticed this morning, it's done! It's not so bad afterall, besides, it turned out great! What do you think?

Last night finally I got some time to crochet a rose on Alla's purple hat. It's too plain to begin with. I found a pattern online but it didn't say what think a yarn to use and how big the crochet hook is, therefore I just try to make one by what I have. The rose is a little too big, I think, but this will be a good memory to make this and next time I will just adjust the size of hook and yarn. No matter what, this is my very first flower I crochet and I love it. <3 <3

I made this purple hate for Alla when Evie and Katie were taking a nap. The hat is a little plain and simple, I think I need to add a flower on it, or at least something!! Well.. when the time I finished this hat, it was time to cook dinner and woke up my angels, there fore I couldn't do anything with it yet. Evie is getting jealous of me playing Blythe dolls and not playing her Barbie dolls with her. She saw Alla's hat and said " Mommy, I want one too". I said "Ok, I will make one for you Barbie", then she is satisfied. :) The very first day I got my dolls, these are the conversations I had with Evie Me: Look! I got new dolls. Evie: Mommy, let me see (usually means she want to hold it) Me: Evie, you got to be careful, these are expensive, you can't play with it, it's not for you to play. Evie: but Mommy why? Me: These are for mommy, not for you, you got your Barbie dolls. Evie: I share my Barbie dolls with you. You got to share, mommy! (it's a payback for me cos we have been telling her to share her toys with Katie) Me: Evie, I can't share this with you, it's really expensive. Evie: why not? I share my toys with you, you share yours with me. (OUCH) Me: Ok, you can pull the string here, okok, not too hard here, be careful.... ......
