This year County Fair I took some of my amis and also my gray honey bunny to the exhibit contest and my amis has won some prizes. I am so happy! Miss Idea got honor, orange octopus got 2nd prize, and honey bunny got 1st premium prize. I need to work harder so that I will have amis for next year contest! :)

I have made 2 hats, 1 purple color and 1 rainbow colors for SWAP this time. I have used the Cupcake pattern from Michelle and changed the pattern a bit to make the rainbow hat. Thanks Michelle for this fabulous design of cupcake pattern. What do you think? I crochet this dress by using double crochet stitch and same stitches to form shells. I like it so much, it's not the first dress I crochet, but I really like the yarn. I have used Red heart Luster Sheen. It's washable and dryable. It is soft and easy to work with. I really hope that knittygirlie's gal will enjoy it!

This year my hubby is very busy with his work, he couldn't find time to buy me a surprise gift, so I have a chance to choose what I want! yeah!!!!! So I go ahead and get this knitting needle holder! It got a lot of compartments and it's very handy around my desk. It big enough that I won't miss it, I always have to find my knitting needles and crochet hooks around my house, how sad, :p and now I don't have to search everywhere, it's right there inside this holder, very convenient, hah? :) This is from from Candice in www.iluvknit.etsy.com

In the past weekend, my hubby and my daughters dyed Easter eggs at home. Lily with her new dress, showed off the dyed eggs and bunny bag. :) What a nice weekend we had, weather was nice, warm enough to play outside, everybody spent 2 days outside without worrying too much of catching a cold. Lily, didn't have a chance to go outside, but had her new purple dress made from mami. Mami crocheted this dress last Friday and Saturday morning, very happy it turned out OK! :)

Last night finally I got some time to crochet a rose on Alla's purple hat. It's too plain to begin with. I found a pattern online but it didn't say what think a yarn to use and how big the crochet hook is, therefore I just try to make one by what I have. The rose is a little too big, I think, but this will be a good memory to make this and next time I will just adjust the size of hook and yarn. No matter what, this is my very first flower I crochet and I love it. <3 <3
